J.P. Bolduc - President and CEO
Mr. Bolduc is the founder and CEO of JPB Enterprises, Inc and is the Senior Managing Director and CEO for JPB Capital Partners II. Prior to forming JPBE, Mr. Bolduc was President and Chief Executive Officer of W.R. Grace & Co. ("Grace"), a Fortune 100 company, and, President and CEO of J.A. Jones, Inc., a multi-national, multi-billion dollar engineering and construction firm. During his more than 35-year business career as an executive officer, entrepreneur, private equity investor, and board member, Mr. Bolduc has been involved in more than 200 acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to his management positions at Grace, Mr. Bolduc was a Vice President and Partner at the global management and technical consulting firm of Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc. and a presidential appointee to three U.S. Presidentsserving as the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture under Presidents Nixon and Ford, and from 1982 to 1985, serving as the Chief Operating Officer for President Reagan's Private Sector Survey on Cost Control (the "Grace Commission"). As COO of the Grace Commission, Mr. Bolduc led the efforts of 161 prominent business leaders (consisting almost entirely of Fortune 500 CEOs) and more than 2,000 private sector business leaders in a study focused on identifying managerial and operational cost savings opportunities, as well as revenue enhancement initiatives in federal government operations. President Reagan also appointed Mr. Bolduc to lead his Task Force on Food Assistance in 1983.
In 1990, Mr. Bolduc partnered with William E. Simon, Sr., the former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and Chairman of Wesray, to form Catterton-Simon Partners ("CSP"), a Greenwich, Connecticut-based private equity firm focused on the consumer products industry. Mr. Bolduc served as a general partner of CSP's first three private equity funds.
Mr. Bolduc serves as chairman and director of numerous social, civic and government boards and commissions and is or has been a director of several privately held and public corporations, including W.R. Grace, Unisys Corporation, Management Consulting Group PLC, J.A. Jones, Inc., EnPro Corporation, Newmont Gold Corporation, Sundstrand Corporation, the Columbia Bank, Marshall & Ilsley Corporation, and Lance Inc. Mr. Bolduc is a trustee of the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester,is on the Advisory Council for Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Notre Dame School of Graduate Studies, and serves on the Board of Directors of Hospice of Baltimore. Mr. Bolduc earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
Michael J. Kalinock - Vice President/Director Real Estate
Mr. Kalinock has been with JPBE since 1997 and brings extensive commercial real estate expertise to the Company. Prior to joining JPBE, Mr. Kalinock provided real estate services on behalf of Noel-Lane Commercial Real Estate Advisors. Mr. Kalinock has represented Fortune 500, as well as local clients in lease and contract negotiation, investment sales and disposition, financing and recapitalization and site selection.
Mr. Kalinock earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Spanish from Frostburg State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Thomas Watson - Vice President - Florida Operations
Mr. Watson joined the Company in 2004 bringing over fourteen years of experience in real estate investments and development, advisory services and banking. Prior to joining JPBE, Mr. Watson was a Director at The St. Joe Company where he led strategic planning efforts for the development of approximately one million acres of land, originated and executed land sales transactions, and created marketing programs for retail and commercial developments.
Previously, Mr. Watson was Director of Advisory Services at Jamison Research, Inc., a real estate research and consulting group, and served as an Internal Auditor and Loan Officer in the banking industry.
Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University.
Ken Mills - Vice President - Mid Atlantic
Mr. Mills recently joined the JPB Real Estate Group as Vice President, Mid-Atlantic operations in 2007. Previously, Mr. Mills was the Vice President of Business Development for Baltimore based Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Inc. (SBER), a regional development, construction and property management firm. Mr. Mills' responsibilities included the strategic planning, identification and assessment of project opportunities for SBER's development and construction divisions. Over his 8 year term, SBER's annual growth exceeded 16%, as the $200 + million company opened regional offices in Durham. N.C., Providence, R.I., Boston, MA and Nashville TN. In the last three years alone, Mr. Mills led the acquisition of over $100 million of projects for the firm. Mr. Mills also served as the interim COO of the Construction Division, overseeing construction management activities in its 150 person division.
Prior to SBER, Mr. Mills was the chief executive officer of a quasi- public real estate development authority, where he developed a $24 million public services complex and also led the authority's first rating service review and its first three public bond financing transactions.
Mr. Mills also serves or has served as a chairman and director of numerous social and civic boards, including the Baltimore Building Congress and Exchange, the Board of Child Care, the Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation, the Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church, the YMCA of Central Maryland, Blue Jays Unlimited (Johns Hopkins University) and the Towson Business Association.
Mr. Mills holds a bachelors degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Michael A. Ellis - Associate - Property Management
Mr. Ellis joined JPB Enterprises, Inc. in 2004 as Property Manager, transferring from Davis Inotek Instruments, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. At Davis Inotek, Mr. Ellis served in various customer service and sales related capacities, including Inside Sales Representative, Customer Service Manager and Senior Purchasing Agent.
Mr. Ellis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Towson State University.
Thomas Payne - Associate - Accounting
Mr. Payne joined the Company in 2005 as an Associate bringing over 10 years of public and private accounting experience to the Firm. Prior to joining JPBE, Mr. Payne was an Accountant with the private firm of Patrick J. Svehula. He also served as an accountant with increasing responsibility with firms such as C-Biz Nemphos Weber, Maryland Investment Group and T. Rowe Price.
He holds a Masters of Health Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Maryland. Mr. Payne is a Certified Public Accountant and formerly certified as a Valuation Analyst.
