Investment Strategy
JPB Partners invests opportunistically in a range of businesses in which the market dynamics suggest the potential for growth through internal expansion and strategic acquisitions. We concentrate primarily on lower-middle-market companies with annual revenues less than $100MM and EBITDA greater than $2MM.
In addition to exceptional management, we look for favorable underlying industry or demographic trends, sector fragmentation, and shifts in channels of distribution as indicators that a company has the capacity to grow rapidly. We also favor industries and businesses with relatively high predictable revenue growth and multiple margin-improvement opportunities.
Most importantly, however, JPB Partners invests in industries where our principals have meaningful operating and leadership experience, and have a demonstrated record of successful, hands-on involvement in the development and implementation of strategic and operational action plans that have improved profitability and shareholder value.
